Helpful Info

A Day on Trek :

Each morning, following the packing of our bags and enjoying a nutritious breakfast, we embark on our daily hike. After approximately 3 to 4 hours of walking, we pause for lunch around noon. The afternoon trek is typically shorter, allowing us to reach our destination in time for afternoon tea. The rest of the afternoon can be dedicated to exploring the village, doing some laundry, or simply unwinding with a good book. On certain days, we may arrive at our destination by lunchtime, granting us the entire afternoon to ourselves. After dinner, the evening is often spent playing cards and reminiscing about the day's experiences before we retire for a well-deserved rest.

Meals and Accommodation;

In Kathmandu, we select a 2-star hotel to guarantee a pleasant stay and a tranquil atmosphere both before and after your journey. Breakfast is included at the hotel in Kathmandu. Typically, rooms are arranged as twin shares; however, depending on the size of the group and room availability, we may accommodate requests for triple share arrangements. During the trek, we offer high-quality meals in ample portions sourced from tea houses and mountain lodges. All meals are provided on a full board basis, which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea and coffee, selected from the teahouse menu throughout the trekking period. Most accommodations consist of guesthouses, which are basic yet comfortable and generally feature shared facilities. Some guesthouses provide showers, while others offer private facilities for sponge bathing when showers are not available.

Luggage while on Trekking

During the trek, your primary luggage will be transported by porters or pack animals, typically yaks or their hybrids. You will only need to carry a daypack containing essentials such as a water bottle, camera, sunscreen, and a spare jacket—this light load enables you to fully enjoy the trekking experience. A trek bag is recommended for your main luggage, along with a small lockable bag for travel clothes or items not needed during the trek, which can be securely stored at the hotel’s locker room or safe deposit box in Kathmandu at no additional cost. The weight limit for domestic flights in Nepal is 15 kilograms, and any excess weight will incur a charge of USD 1 or more per kilogram, depending on the flight sector.

Ground Leader and Crew

1) Trained Nepali Trek leader (experienced and knowledgeable)
2) Sherpa Guide (handles the logistics and guides you and your team on the trek)
The Sherpa guide (commonly called Sirdar) will be accompanied by a crew of porters. On camping trek, there will be 2/3 porters for each members while on GAP and on Lodge trek 1 porter for 2 members.
